This week at Co-op Academy Portland

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 children— they’ve shown such resilience, determination, and focus throughout SATs week, and all their hard work truly shines. Well done, Y6!

πŸ“š F2’s Trip to St James Centre Library

Today, our fantastic F2 class visited the North Birkenhead Development Trust – St James Centre Library, and they made quite an impression! The staff were very impressed with Portland’s brilliant behaviour and excellent listening skills.
πŸ₯° As they left, our lovely little ones even gave a cheerful wave and said “good afternoon” to everyone in the café—such a heart-melting moment!

 Kindness Shout out!

πŸ•·οΈMr Ogilvie witnessed an incredible act of kindness between 2 boys in year 3 this morning.

πŸ•·οΈOne knew that the other loves Spider-Man more than anything in the world so he brought him in a Spider-Man book.

πŸ•·οΈIt made his day. What a great start to a Friday πŸ•·οΈπŸŒž

REWARDS

Improving attendance is everyone’s business. The barriers to accessing education are wide and complex, both within and beyond the school gates, and are often specific to individual pupils and families. At Co-op Academy Portland, we will do all we can to support your family and ensure our academy is safe, calm and a supportive environment for your child. Let’s celebrate everyone’s success together.
